Living Abroad Basic Plan
As more churches and ministries based outside of the U.S. send missionaries outside of their home country, there arose a need for a different kind of coverage. Most of these countries do not have an insurance based system for covering medical expenses, and the typical U.S. based worldwide coverage plans are too expensive. There is a significant need for catastrophic coverage for these missionaries. They are used to receiving care locally for routine medical needs however, in the case of a major medical need the resources are not available and the sending ministries can not always cover the expenses.
